Here is another card using the Baroque Motifs set. It is a nice simple card with Mellow Moss, Handsome Hunter and Ruby Red. I love the eyelet border punch, it adds just a pretty touch to every card.This is one of the cards I am currently using in my workshop. I love when a non-Christmas stamp set works as a Christmas card as well. This card was made using the Baroque Motifs set, with Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla cardstock. The inks used are Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red.
I made this card a while ago, not long after we set up our fish tank. I was reminded of the Ocean Commotion set so I pulled out my incolour cardstock and made this little 3"x3" card. The colours are Pacific Point, Blue Bayou, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. I think I used a sketch challenge too, but I can't actually remember right now which one, so I'll get back to you on that one.
I really love this set, it's perfect for so many cards. It is great for masculine and sympathy cards, and as you can see makes a nice Christmas card. It is a bit hard to tell, but the cardstock colours used are Always Artichoke and Whisper White. The artichoke didn't come up so well in my photo, but this card is a lovely simple card that would work well with many darker colours. This was another of the cards from this months Stamp-a-Stack.
I love this colour combination, the Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip just look so elegant together. This card is one we are doing in tonights Stamp-A-Stack.
One of these days I'll work out how to take a photo that doesn't look like the card is crooked.
So I thought I'd focus on Christmas Cards for a bit, give you some inspiration for your cards for this season.
So here is one of my favorites, using the Snow Swirled set. The scallop oval punch makes a great ornament. Stay tuned for more Christmas ideas in the days to come....
Yesterday I participated in a fundraising market day event. I met a lot of lovely people there and funds were raised for the preschool holding the event. I thought I'd show a picture of the stand because I think it looks awesome! (I've never been particularly modest ;) ).
Another card from this months technique class. The technique is reverse masking. As you can see we had a masking month! The set used is Live Life Like You Mean It, it is a fantastic set that is only available as a hostess set. Today's card was done using masking technique to get the seaweed behind the fish. It was one of the cards at this months technique class.
The stamp set used is Ocean Commotion. I find this set hard to use so I liked colour combination. The incolors always work well together and you just can't go wrong with Kraft as a base.
